Welcome to Keramikos, the neighbourhood you never knew you loved so much! One of the most diverse areas of Athens, opening up an exciting new era in the city's history. It’s alternative and fresh, adjacent to Metaxourgio and Gazi, not so exposed to tourists, where new cool bars, coffee shops and theaters are springing up alongside derelict mansions and various galeries. Visit this area at night, but also during the day to see the ancient cemetery of Kerameikos and a couple of good museums.

It is right at the center of the city yet it doesn’t feel like it. The laid-back and artistic vibe of this area is what makes it so special.
