  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • Pets are not allowed for stays of up to 15 days. For longer stays, pets are permitted with a special cleaning fee upon departure. Please inquire before booking.
  • Parties and loud music are strictly forbidden.
  • Keep noise to a minimum from 15.00 p.m. to 17.30 p.m. and between 22.00 p.m.and 07.30 a.m.
  • 24h self check-in option is available for free. In person check-in is available upon request and it's subject to availability. A late check-in fee applies for arrivals after 18:00.
  • To oblige with local regulations we will ask you to sign a tenancy agreement. Passport or National ID and Home address should be provided.
  • Security Deposit: Up to 30 days 250€, 1-6 months 1 rent, 6+ 2 rents

The Neighborhood

Just beyond the promenade ringing the Acropolis, Petralona offers an intriguing mix of classical splendour, café culture, and community spirit. Less touristically inclined than Monastiraki, Petralona district is where the locals go to people-watch and eat out. Locals socialise at the many neighbourhood tavernas, running the gamut from cheap to post-modern, and cocktail bars.

 

Here you will find Cine Zefyros, an open-air theatre. It has been at the centre of local community life since the early 1930s. Like the surrounding neighbourhood, this arthouse cinema has evolved slowly: from an impoverished, marginalised district that settled Greek refugees fleeing Asia Minor, Petralona has blossomed into a charming pocket of stone cottages with walled gardens and mid-20th century dwellings, where residents still sit on the stoop exchanging gossip as they watch the comings-and-goings at the area’s tavernas.

The apartment was exactly what my son and I needed, very clean, with all the amenities. The location was central and just moments away from the Acropolis and other tourist attractions. Great restaurants nearby, ubers and food delivery was convenient and fast. nOnly issue I had was I left one of my plug converters there, but that was totally my fault. To any Americans traveling to this air bnb I hope you get the chance to make use of it. nThe communication with the upstreet hosts was instant and efficient. One of the hosts met us upon arrival and allowed us to enter the apartment early which was very nice. nDefinitely will stay again when returning to Athens!

Looks just like the pictures is perfect for a solo traveler. I spent seven weeks here doing an internship close to the Metro. Very safe, near the grocery store, bakeries coffee shops. The metro is close and just one or two stops away from the center of Athens. The mansgement team was always helpful. Quick to respond and very professional. I highly recommend.
