Sleeping Arrangements:
Two bedrooms with a queen bed in each one (160 cm.). A third bedroom with two single beds.  A sofa in the living room. The apartment can accommodate comfortably up to 6 persons. Baby Crib available upon request and with an extra charge.

  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • Pets are not allowed for stays of up to 15 days. For longer stays, pets are permitted with a special cleaning fee upon departure. Please inquire before booking.
  • Parties and loud music are strictly forbidden.
  • Keep noise to a minimum from 15.00 p.m. to 17.30 p.m. and between 22.00 p.m.and 07.30 a.m.
  • 24h self check-in option is available for free. In person check-in is available upon request and it's subject to availability. A late check-in fee applies for arrivals after 18:00.
  • To oblige with local regulations we will ask you to sign a tenancy agreement. Passport or National ID and Home address should be provided.
  • Security Deposit: Up to 30 days 250€, 1-6 months 1 rent, 6+ 2 rents

The Neighborhood

Welcome to Plaka! The most historical and renowned neighborhood of downtown Athens. Located between Syntagma and Monastiraki square, the area of Plaka offers an experience that goes beyond and stands out from the experience of visiting Athens. Dare to get lost into the small alleys and discover an array of flavors, aromas and unique people that will make you feel that Plaka is your home away from home.

 

Numerous of major Athens sights can be found in the neighborhood. Parthenon, the new Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Herodes Atticus Theatre, the Pnyx Hill, the Roman Agora – Roman Forum, and the picturesque neighborhood with the Greek island-like houses, Anafiotika are all within walking distance.

Centrally located, beautifully furnished, clean, beds are firm and very comfortable, linen is fresh and crisp. The two bathroom, one by the bedrooms and another by the entrance are both of a good size. nWe walked to all the various tourist areas within 10 to 15 minutes and we had lovely restaurants (including vegan), grocers within 5 minutes walks. nWe arrived on the Greek Easter Sunday and the shops were mostly closed but we found a restaurant/grocer open and were able to get the basic for the week. The unit comes with minimal supplies if you stay a week, you'll need to purchase all food supplies. The cooking pans or pot for the oven and microwave are minimal. As a cook we found it challenging to prepare anything but breakfast and snacks. Salt-pepper and a few coffee punks are provided for coffee. The appliances as listed are small and basic but worked well. the elevator worked well but we mostly used the grand staircase after an early check-in. Communication was excellent.

Our stay was wonderful. The apartment is in an amazing location. It is walkable to all of the best tourist spots, but also a bit off the beaten path. There are restaurants nearby and even a healthy grocery story, which I appreciated. The apartment was roomy and spotless. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and the amenities perfect. The communication with Upstreet was easy and they were very responsive to our questions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
