Welcome to Petralona, one of the most aesthetically pleasing and hip neighborhoods of Athens. Petralona is in the middle of Athens, the rest of the city, such as Syntagma Square, is easily accessible without the overcrowding that you may feel in the historic center. The architecture combines urban reality with tradition. You will find some fantastic places to eat and/or drink, safe in the knowledge that should you have a glass of wine or two you will be within walking distance from your place!

Sleeping Arrangements:
One bedroom with a queen bed (160 cm.). A sofa-bed in the living room. The apartment can accommodate comfortably up to 4 persons. Baby Crib available upon request and with an extra charge.

This is a private property in a residential building, a reception or other hotel services are not available, however, our hosting team will be always available to help you. The parking entrance is steep and the passages are narrow. Entering and maneuvering can be challenging for some drivers.

  • Keep noise to a minimum from 15.00 p.m. to 17.30 p.m. and between 22.00 p.m.and 07.30 a.m.
  • 24h self check-in option is available for free. In person check-in is available upon request and it's subject to availability. A late check-in fee applies for arrivals after 18:00.
  • To oblige with local regulations we will ask you to sign a tenancy agreement. Passport or National ID and Home address should be provided.
  • Security Deposit: Up to 30 days 250€, 1-6 months 1 rent, 6+ 2 rents

The Neighborhood

Just beyond the promenade ringing the Acropolis, Petralona offers an intriguing mix of classical splendour, café culture, and community spirit. Less touristically inclined than Monastiraki, Petralona district is where the locals go to people-watch and eat out. Locals socialise at the many neighbourhood tavernas, running the gamut from cheap to post-modern, and cocktail bars.

 

Here you will find Cine Zefyros, an open-air theatre. It has been at the centre of local community life since the early 1930s. Like the surrounding neighbourhood, this arthouse cinema has evolved slowly: from an impoverished, marginalised district that settled Greek refugees fleeing Asia Minor, Petralona has blossomed into a charming pocket of stone cottages with walled gardens and mid-20th century dwellings, where residents still sit on the stoop exchanging gossip as they watch the comings-and-goings at the area’s tavernas.
